A Word from James

     My name is James McMillion and I grew up in Hudson, IL. I have three brothers and one sister. My wife and I have been ministering in Wapella since September of 2007. Before that I drove a truck over the road for six years. Although I no longer drive a truck I still love to talk about trucks or cars or anything with a motor. I also like to go fishing and camping. I love pecan pie and homemade meals. It’s a good thing I married a great cook. I love to watch Nascar, and of course, my beloved St. Louis Cardinals. As much as I love these things, my greatest passion is preaching. This is what God has called me to do and why I am here. I am committed to preaching God’s Word and impacting lives with the love of Jesus Christ.    

A Word from Beth

     My full name is Elizabeth Ann. I was born August 29, 1981 in Rockford, IL. I have a younger brother and sister. I graduated from Lincoln Christian College and am currently working on my thesis for a Masters of Religious Education. Before moving to Wapella I worked at Lincoln Christian Church as their Pastoral Care Coordinator. James and I love being here in Wapella, serving Christ alongside our brothers and sisters here in Wapella. Here are just of the few things I love: my husband; golf; football; baseball; rollerblading; fishing; camping; boating; peach pie; cooking; friends; family and most importantly Christ and His church.
